I just got a lot less interested in being in CUSA .

I think Charlotte is now the only founding member of CUSA that is not in the BE. I believe it was just us and Tulane before today.

2nd best winning percentage in basketball during CUSA v1 and now here we are. I hate college sports.

Aresco told the Washington Post that ECU's likely to become a full member of the BE with the Catholic 7 leaving.

Also the BE has talked to UNLV and Fresno about being football members.

I think the BE will eventually just create an all sports conference with eastern and western divisions.

It seems fairly clear to me that Charlotte is not going to get into the BE anytime soon (not that I was expecting it anyway), so I hope the BE blows up the MWC and CUSA grabs Nevada, Wyoming, Colorado State, and Utah State. It would be even better if the BE doesn't take New Mexico because I'd love to have that basketball program in CUSA.

Big East is the new CUSA. $$$ have ruined college sports.

The current BE is laughable. The western teams will bolt back to the MWC and Cincy will end up somewhere viable and what's left is a conference that is worse than Cusa, the Sunbelt and the MAC.

Saw a guy who had been a good source of insight in the past say Houston and SMU will jump to the MWC soon as well. If that happens the Big East will be worse than the former CUSA.
