whole different set of cercimstances, jake didn't play the first half, Cam did. The Panthers were holding their own against the Jags, it was never close in the Giants game.Just so we are on the same page, you think that when Jake Delhomme came into the game while down 17-0 against the Jacksonville Jaguars in 2003 he shouldn't have been running around slapping everyone's helmets and trying to get everyone fired up?
With Jake that is leadership. With Cam it is showboating while down by 16 points.
Got it.
Cam newton needs to grow up

What is the difference between being down 17 points in the third quarter like we were against JAX and being down 16 points in the 3rd quarter like we were against the Giants??whole different set of cercimstances, jake didn't play the first half, Cam did. The Panthers were holding their own against the Jags, it was never close in the Giants game.
Trying to fire up your team in a game that was still relatively close at that moment is a sign of leadership, not arrogance. It didn't work, but he was trying to generate some momentum in a two possession game early in the 3rd quarter. At that point the game was far from a blow out.
Also, how is that different from RG3 celebrating his TD to cut the lead to 8 points with 1:28 left to go in the game against us??

I'm pretty sure smith fell down on the play. Not a great read, but it was only a pick bc Stevei like that CDF, you friend have just coined a new acronym.
And they are annoying, whisper a criticism of Cam and they go postal, I wish they were half the Carolina Panthers fan that they are Cam Newton fans. I seriously believe that many of them if Cam wasn't here neither would they be.
In the Denver game I had like 3 of these guys jump on me for Calling a pic 6 all on Cam, which it was. They have the Cam homer glasses on so firmly they cant see the truth in front of them.

But they all love RG3!
Because he is humble and knows his place in society. And he wears colorful Sponge Bob Square pants socks like a circus clown that is just here to amuse them.
It isn't whether they are a black QB or not, it is about whether they will act the way some want them to act while being a black QB. They have no problems with black QBs as long as they conform to their standards of how black QBs should act.
Joe Namath's cockiness was/is considered cool, Cam's cockiness is entitlement and immaturity. smh
You nailed it... the double-standard is alive and well.

7-23 wasnt close?? It was a 2 possession game, it wasnt over. If that isnt close i want to know what you consider all the "close" games we have LOST in the past 2 years when we were leading.
