I may be reading to little into this but you sir may be reading wayyyyy too far into this whole thing. It doesn't matter if the rule is logical.. smoke ..get caught it's your fault. Why not just stop if you know you arn't supposed to? Hasn't he been caught for this twice now which means he was too lazy to listen the first time?


Bingo. The problem isn't the pot. It's the stupid.

Kid was impulsive / arrogant / stupid to the point that he got himself kicked off his college team. I'm okay with a guy who makes one or two dumb mistakes as a kid (lots of people do) but repeat offenders get a red flag for stupidity and poor judgment.

As far as the comparisons, I'd probably go more Patrick Peterson than Captin Munnerlyn, which means his NFL future is probably brighter as a return guy than a DB, but that's assuming he can show better judgment as a pro.

Frankly not convinced that a guy who didn't have enough self-discipline to keep his nose clean in a college environment will suddenly grow up when he's handed more freedom and a lot of money.

Some college kids are 21 and the coaches are also so as far as that goes yeah have a good time?
