How to save Armanti

35 posts in this topic

The only option I see keeping Armani is to cut Clausen and let Armani hold the clip board and be 3rd QB option. He could be used as a utility player at punt return on kick return in a pinch if a player goes down. We get three for one (Clausen). Win Win

Why would we want to save him? He is taking up a valuable roster spot.

It was so Jerry Richardson could pocket money from App St homers who buy tickets, concessions, beer, & merchandise to see their golden boy play for his joke of a franchise. Mr. Richardson is an excellent businessman.

Anybody who actually believes this truly has no clue about pro football or economics.

Im not saying JR did that, but similar things DO happen in the world of business.

Mr. Richardson will have 4 rules when interviewing potential GMs.

1) Steve Smith is like a son to me & is untouchable.

2) Cam Newton is my QB & untouchable.

3) Armanti Edwards makes me a ton of money off his App St saps. He is also untouchable.

4) Go buy some Bojangles, son.

Not far from the truth. Which is sad, but funny at the same time.

If anyone thinks for one second JR is going to give a new GM every set of keys to the car, you know nothing about this organization. Trust me when I tell you JR keeps his hands in personnel decisions more than you think.

It's clear he just needs to grow out his dreads again.

i always see people post this.

i've never known or heard of anybody actually paying to go to a panthers game solely to see armanti edwards or even really being influenced by his presence to. all i've ever seen about the matter is either a. people bitching about the blown pick or b. people leaving comments on app state fan blogs bitching about the panthers "not utilizing armanti's talents" and threatening to boycott the team if he doesn't get more snaps which is sort of the opposite of buying tickets, concessions, and merchandise.

well on second thought EasternJ might but he'd be the only one.
