So sending a fullback to the pro bowl based on his yards is just stupid.

Fans are stupid, so having a fan vote weigh in on Pro Bowl considerations is stupid. It's a stupid process for a stupid game that most (myself included) convince ourselves is not stupid when regarding our own team's players.

You get to vote for two ILB.

Navorro Bowman
Patrick Willis
Daryl Washington

and fan favorites

Brian Urlacher
London Fletcher

Ehhh

There should be a rookie all star game like in the NBA.

vonta leach, ovie mughelli, and lorenzo neal (back when he was playing) were/are probably about the only fullbacks joe NFL fan could name. might as well add tolbert to the list.

For the probowl, they should have an athletic competition. That way the players will take it more seriously, without the harm of injury. Make it like a NFL olympics. (In the past they did have something similar just before the game. I don't know if they still do that and just show it on NFL network. I guess I'll find out this year now that it's on Time Warner.)

With that said, Dwan probably deserves a probowl bid. He really helped this defense. Tolbert? Ye-no.

it's all about name recognition and team recognition. it's got very little to do with talent.

been that way for years.
