I mean what happened was truly horrific and it's very terrible but how do you pragmatically go about changing the time/date of the game?
I know the circumstances were different but the Skins played after Sean Taylor died...

As others pointed out they move flex games every so often.
Just make an announcement that the game is at 4:00 and people work it out.

I don't understand how you can possibly delay the game.

As someone else pointed out, logistically it's not that different from flex scheduling. More rushed, but essentially the same procedures.

They should be the ones that decide what happens.

I don't mean to sound insensitive, but if he can't coach they need to name an interim HC. But by all accounts he is at work right now.
I posted this earlier but some may have missed. The KC Chiefs are at work right now.

Lindaman said Belcher’s mother, who was visiting the couple and their 3-month-old daughter, witnessed the shooting and was being interviewed by police.

I would even argue the Sean Taylor thing is worse because he was murdered, this guy just comitted suicide. Flex it to 4:15 is reasonable, rescheduling it for another day is unreasonable

In front of the head coach, as well as others. And the team trainer is his father.

This isn't a situation > game issue. Had Crennel and others not allegedly witnessed the suicide would you still be calling for the game to be postponed?

Right, and look at Joe Philbin and Andy Reid, both lost sons and both coaching the very next season. This is the NFL, maybe at our normal crap jobs they would send us home in cases like this but the NFL is a whole different world

Reports I've seen said it was the victim's mother. Could still be some confusion.
Terrible story either way.

What is the point of moving the game back a few hours? Honestly?
Like I said, for me it all depends on what the Chiefs want.
If they wanna play, fine. If they want to postpone, or even cancel, I'm fine with that too.
