I have faith that Chud will find a way to mess logic up and fug it in the ass.

If there is a SINGLE thing we SHOULD expect for tomorrow....is that Williams seizes his chance to show he's still a useful back. He hasn't done much (granted, bad OL, but still). If is going to prove his worth, he needs to do it tomorrow. He IS the back. Tolbert can spell him every now and then and come in on certain situations, but Williams is the primary back this game, and he needs to run like he's running for his job. he doesn't have to break the long one. He doesn't even have to break a 10 yard run. He needs to show he can put his nose to the grindstone and pick up 4 yards minimum each time he gets his hands on the football.

i can't find where i read it, but rivera has said that there will be a different approach to the run game without stewart in the line up.

Hopefully we see more of the power I with williams, and run some stretches and sweeps, then bring in Tolbert for some single back up the middle.

Please, please, please Chud. Lets go 80-20 run behind the center. Not read option poo, please chud.

Williams hasn't looked good with Cam under C either....

At last the read lets Cam run more. Takes away some of Williams' wasted attempts

Thats because, for whatever reason, Chud thinks Dwill is a between the tackles kind of runner. He isn't.

Which is why he doesn't fit. This scheme required inbetween the tackle running. Can't change our scheme to fit 1/3 of a RB committee

tried a pitch or two last week to get him to the outside...it didn't work either.

they're going to have to go to what they did quite often last season. it was an option pitch. cam took the ball to the line of scrimmage (sometimes beyond) to draw off defenders then at the last second (if he chose to) pitch it to williams who would be trailing him and usually be left with open space.

I hope you're kidding.

Mike Tolbert has been the epitome of horrible this season.

Tolbert is yet to have a run for loss of yards this year.

Good grief can we have 1 singular thread without CRA and nosuchthing making sure everyone shares their milquetoast opinion on Deangelo Williams? We get it, you resent him. We got it the first time. You're crapifying the forum by making sure you have the most posts in any thread about him.

wrong.

i would be the first to stand and cheer if williams puts on a clinic today and the rest of the season.

what i won't do is pretend he's still the same runner from 2008.

I was speaking more for Cam's benefit. He passes better under center. That's a fact.
