Northern Illinois to play in the Orange. Really gives the BCS more credibility.

Also pstall, under the new rules in 2014, NIU would still get a bid to this bowl. They were the highest ranked team from outside the major 5 conferences.
Yea but Louisville would not have made it.... We would of had six games plus the championship game
Assuming for the purpose of this exercise we take the top 4 you would have
1) Semi Final Bowl - Notre Dame vs Oregon
2) semi Final Bowl - Florida vs Alabama
3) National Title
4) Stanford vs Wisconson
5) Kansas St vs Georgia
6) Florida St vs LSU (ACC champ gets either 2nd big ten, 2nd Sec or ND... would assume they would opt LSU over Texas A&M)
7) NIU vs At LArge (This could be Texas A&M, Oklahoma, Nebraska, ect)
So even though they would make it in, the bowl matchups would be sooo much better and NIU would be playing the last At-Large team instead of the ACC champion.

Find it funny you are bad mouthing Louisville.
I don't know how I am bad mouthing.... I don't believe Louisville and NIU both deserves to play in the BCS games as it takes away from the quality of match ups. This is why the Big East lost their AQ status and got lumped in with the other mid major conferences. A team with not 1 win over a top 25 team all year and the champion of a bad conference. I have nothing against them, I just like the new rule where only 1 of NIU or Louisville would have gotten in.

Niu and boise is chevys vs fords.
Tell me about niu's 1 loss this year. By 33 to..umm...to..Kentucky. for realz
It just sucks to have a great season and you are penalized by playing in the best conf. See usc, uga, lsu,a&m.
By 33 point loss to Kentucky, I'm assuming you actually mean a 1 point loss to Iowa on the opening Saturday of the year, right?

Meant to include that as comparisons.

This.IMO, Northern Illinois vs FSU is the only BCS game that is interesting. I like seeing a team from outside the power conferences get its shot. Its certainly better than watching the third place SEC team take on the 4th place Big 12 team or whatever the matchups are.

if the NFL had the BCS look how many teams would not even gotten in. pitt, giants and packers of the last few years to name a few.
if you want a fair shot then lets do it right.
