For those of you wanting to cut Josh Norman...

Like I said I'd be surprised if he is a starter here next year. If he is I will personally buy you a Josh Norman jersey and stand in line at training camp for him to sign it. Deal?

Free Jersey ?

Sure.

I like no risk bets.

Never said he wouldn't be on the team. Said he wouldn't be a starter. They guy on the other side is outplaying him. Plus gamble comes back. With a new gm everyone will be evaluated.

Josh Norman has the chip on his shoulder needed to be successful, he is young and played with poo competition in college so it will take some time to get used to the speed and gimmicks of the NFL.

Ok maybe im blind but Josh Norman is nearly always getting burned, has dropped some easy picks and always seems to be yards away from his man. Josh Norman is another prime example of when fans of teams severly overrate their players

What rookie (or vet, for that matter) hasn't been burned?

The jury is still out on Norman. With his attitude and work ethic, it seems to me like he would be a player that any fan would root for. It's certainly "severely" premature to call him a bust in the purest sense of the word. Being that he was a late round pick, from a football perspective, you really can't call him a bust at all. He, like most, needs time to progress, but it's not like he isn't showing some promise (IMHO).

BTW, I haven't seen him drop any "easy" picks.

I agree with you but I'm not as high on him as most. You can't teach speed. He try's to hide it by playing off. Which killed us against the giants and allowed the bears to run the same slant all the way down the field.

Hell no, norman rocks. He's one of the last people I'd want gone.

I want him to succeed, I want every Panther to be great.

I think his popularity is based on the one play he made at fan fest and his trash talk. Without those two things he's quite Nakamura-esque

Not really.....Nakamura is a physically limited vet.

Norman has great athletic ability and is a rookie.

Yeah, Norman likes great speed but athletically he is a beast.

I like Josh Thomas more than Norman. He gives up to many big plays and plays way to far off of his WR. Im hoping he improves during the off season but Im not holding my breath.
