Isn't he one of the guys who would cost more against the cap to cut than keep?

No. He and Gamble count roughly $23 million against the cap next year and neither have much in the way of unallocated bonus. At minimum they will have to be open to re-structuring or will likely be gone by necessity.

Ah. Well it sure would be nice if they restructure. I imagine they'll just sign extensions that give them 2 or 3 more years and lower their cap numbers by like half. I don't foresee either of them leaving. Would be pretty irresponsible to cut your best player in the secondary (by far) and your team captain LT who, despite popular opinion here, isn't playing THAT bad. Bad game against Denver but otherwise better than at least half of the test of the league. The problem is both Guard spots (Amini's still learning obviously) and Center.

He's not worth the money we are throwing at him!!!!

Fug it, throw a cheap contract in-between 2 starving rookies or FA and let them fight for it

Gross is about money, and declining performance.

Please provide examples of this because I am not seeing it, the performance that is.

You'd save 10 million by cutting Gross. He restructures OR he's gone.

don't bet on it.

That wasn't his only bad game. That's just the most recent example and that's SAD that I can use our most recent game against a really shitty team.

Do you really need me to sit here and list every bad game for you? The dude is done being an elite tackle, and we need to do what winning franchises do and cut ties if it means freeing up money and adding a younger player for the future.

I love me some gross but he is donezo.

Gross isn't as bad as some are saying, but he's just not bringing what his paycheck should.

You blaim others for not watching game tape or checking stats and yet you claim he sucked in a game in which profootball states:

"particularly LT Jordan Gross, who was excellent at the point of attack."

As I havn´t watched the rerun I think I good with thier opinion for now.

Sure, Gross might be a cap casualty. But make no mistake, his replacmant will we not be as good as he is (unless we waste a 1st needed elsewhere or get really lucky).
