Your point is? Those stories get virtually no play in the US media. Most people in the US have no clue how extensive our drone program is

Huffington Post, CNN, UK Guardian, Wiki Entries, local news outlets... and that is from the first page of a single google search.

Are you really arguing this?

Do you really think our drone program has gotten heavy coverage in the US media? Because I can honestly not remember a big story about it. Sure, if you look around online you can find whatever news you want, but that doesnt mean every story gets the same national attention.

Maybe you watch different stuff than me, idk. There have only been a couple of threads on here about it that I recall and none were very popular

Edit: the google page you is blog posts and foreign coverage. Not a single real article from a major US news source (unless you count HuffPo). One is even a letter to the editor in the Florida Today complaining about the lack of coverage

Or are we going by the "If I don't see it, then it isn't happening" rule?

You didnt get my point at all. Bravo to Fox News though for the one article from them to popup on your google search for "fox drone attacks." I dont know how they find the time for such extensive drone coverage. Maybe in a few more months they will write an article with numbers in it.

btw just found extensive media coverage of bigfoot sightings, the US's return to the gold standard, and America's plan to invade Canada

america fight's by the book. our enemies know this. this is why vietnam, iraq, afg and any where else we go drag's out. one day after 9/11 we should have been making afg a parking lot. dropping bomb's 24/7. and after a week of bombing, say if it happens again, we will be back. america always tries to do it the right way, and we pay a heavy price. once you send troops, you are there 50 years. yeah america is the leader of the world, but at what cost?

Meanwhile, never mind that I page-slapped you with all of 20 seconds of google searching for something you claim to be false. God forbid you do some critical thinking on your own time without something be spoon fed to you

What the fug is this crap? You can't just bomb a country indiscriminately. That's against all kinds of international laws and treaties.

I agree. if we fight fair and follow the rules, what does it get us? The world still hates us and claims we are unhumanitarian on every front. besides, al queda and taliban are not nations. So how could the guidlines of the war laws apply to them anyway? they never signed a convention with us of any sort. And If your country is stupid enough to harbor them, expect an open parking lot where your cities used to be. what ever happened to fight fire with fire?

America doesn't declare war on school buses and crowded delis. and to my knowledge we've never been summoned into the world court for war crimes violations. Even when we turned japan into an open parking lot. seemed the rest of the world was in compliance with that strategy back then!
