Article is mainly about manti te'o and how he projects to the NFL but of course there are kuechly comparisons in here also, but this blurb caught my eye.

One agreement here from the evaluators is that while Kuechly might not have been the superior college player, he was a better prospect than Te'o. The Carolina Panthers rookie, they say, has better range, better top-end speed, more position flexibility, and even better instincts (Kuechly was considered on the Ray Lewis level there), in addition to being taller (Kuechly is 6-foot-3, 235 pounds; Te'o is 6-2, 255).

That's some high-ass praise if you ask me!

Luke has a chance to be a great MLB. Makes you wonder what will happen to Beason next year. Beason is a very good MLB but he's an average OLB.

Sure he does. He's a big big man. Did you see the picture of him next to the NC highschool linebacker that won the defensive player of the year for the Carolinas? He's like a foot taller than that kid.

no i didn't see that picture. i mean i can believe he's that tall, but just seeing pictures of him with his build, he looks like a regular guy who works out a lot.

I wonder if we can get Kuechly involved in the pass rush more. I know MLB isn't supposed to get the sacks, but he has so much talent and is so quick.

Beason was a very good MLB.

He is until proven otherwise. He probably shouldn't have been on the field at the beginning of the year. He wasn't ready to play.

regardless if Beason had been ready we wouldn't have seen what Luke can do over the middle and I'm so glad we did. Just wish it hadn't been because of Beason's health.

I don't know whether he will be on ray lewis' level or not but its pretty amazing how often he is around the ball. He has some killer instincts!!

I hope so since he keeps getting burned in pass protection. It's the main weakness in his game and teams are picking on him pretty consistently.
