Way to change the argument. Did anyone claim that it would fund the government? No? Didn't think so.

The church I attend in downtown charlotte is struggling financially and taxing would cripple/destroy them.
I do think there is a solution or some sort of middle ground. I have no clue though
So are plenty of families.

Last time I looked I was not a non profit
So are many charities. Yet they have to report their income, structure etc.

My mom's church only has like 50 regular attendees, and they somehow bank around $1,500 a week...

that's $30 per week per member. most churches ask for 10% as a biblical mandate so that's really not all that outlandish
