Murphy has always been a good WR, he was Oakland's best wideout when he was there. He like other good players on this team are a victim of this coaching staff.


The coaching staff didn't make Murphy drop the balls he has this year. Sometimes fans like to make excuses for players for some reason.

Not a exuse when the proof is in the game film. He has stepped up and has been one of Cam's best targets next to Smitty and Greg. I can only recall him dropping a few passes and the rest were either broken up or overthrown. Dude is a good receiver but hey if you rather keep Armanti Edwards and a guy like Gettis who hasn't played in 2 years be my guest.
