not sure how some of you get your rocks off from sliding up or down a spot in the draft over winning football games

I know as Panthers fans we are used to getting top 10 picks but I care more about wins than high draft picks. Wish everyone felt that way

Agree'd, beating the Falcons and hopefully finishing 7-9 is much more important then getting better talent for possible deep playoff runs in the future.

winning is winning.

we can pick anywhere in the top 10 and still get a stud. i'm more than happy with that.

keep on winning. don't stop.

I see consecutive wins in the future. Which is bitter sweet, since I'm one of the people that wants a high draft pick, but if we win, screw it. I rather win than have a top 5 pick. A top 10 pick will get us a great player as well.

how is this a loser mentality? it's the facts.

Fact is, some of you are beyond selfish.

It's like, if your unrealistic dreams of your team wins don't come true, might as well tank the season.

In order to get Elite players you have to pick in the top 5 spots of the draft sometimes.

And these guys stay with your franchise for a long time.

There is no loser mentality wanting elite talent for your team.

I think we need a 3 year plan for draft picks. Like #5, #2, #7.

Then it's superbowl time.

if you think competing for the playoffs are an unrealistic dream why do you even follow the panthers?

this says all kinds of fail.

without even looking, i can tell you that most of the elite talent in the nfl right now were drafted outside of the top 5 picks.

If there isn't a clear cut #1 QB in the draft the draft sucks basically in the minds of many and they just repeat that poo over and over

Within the first three rounds, you will find your starters for the immediate future and beyond. You have a good GM, you don't have to worry about the draft at all. I was kind of hoping if we had the first overall pick, we would be able to trade back, and pick up an extra first for next year, possibly putting us in position to draft a Jadeveon Clowney or a Marquis Lee. Now I know the Chiefs have a firm grip on the first overall, and the Cards will probably lose out and get the second, trading back to pick up an extra first next year is out of the question. I want to continue to win, but I fear this may give Rivera another year.
