So in your eyes, "balanced perspective" means intentionally finding fault with everything Cam does just so he won't look better than Jake? I figured there was a reason behind all this intentional over the top expectation of Cam.
Why are we still holding on to the ghost of Jake Delhomme? That is the problem with some of you fans. You don't seem to want this team to move forward because your favorite person isn't on it anymore. How sad and selfish is that?
I am using Jake as an example of what real hating on a QB looks like! because you guys clearly don't have a freaking clue. There's not been a Single, and I mean Single topic posted with the title "Cam is tex Sux we need to bench/cut him now!" with Jake for his last 3 years as the Panthers QB it was a every day thing. A lot of the people complaining about any criticisms of Cam I look at as if they are intellectual babies, with such a fragile grasp on reality find it amazing that they are even able to get out of bed in the morning.
Just as an example of what I'm talking about
Let's say I talk about his "lack of leadership" one week and the Cam Newton Jock Sniffers say I'm hating on him, but two weeks rolls by and the same people that said I was hating on him are praising him for showing more effort into being a leader.
Basically I get blasted for criticism when I call Leadership into question, but when he shows improvement the Jock sniffers praise him for improving? which person is based in reality and which one isn't?
Cam Newton is a second year player in the NFL, he has done nothing to earn a criticism pass
yet, he's not even won more then 6 games in a single season yet, but instead of looking at him as work in progress there are many people on here that look at him as the second coming.
If you look at my posts over the last year about Cam Newton, you will see about a 50/50 split, about half talking about what he does good and praising him and the other half criticizing him for his issues, actually if anything you would probably see more posts from me praising Cam for what he does good then bad. in fact anyone calling me a Cam hater, I dare you to go look at them, because I know what you will see, Balanced analysis, equal portions good and bad.
This doesn't make me a Cam hater, this Just makes me a fan who can see things for what they are.
