Who is his main competition for DROY?

I haven't kept up. Once he moved to the Mike I figured he was a lock.

I thought he did pretty well against Gonzalez also. Even when Tony pushed off (most the time)

I remember the first Atlanta game where the announcers even admitted that vet te's get a pass on push offs...looks like they are right

Chandler Jones.

Nah, Jones has been hurt.

It'd be Casey Heyward.

Last I heard it had been Jones but I don't doubt it. Bruce Irvin has a nice sack total but thats about it. I hope voters take note of how Luke is already a leader on defense and makes essentially all of the calls and audibles from his position.

I doubt any other rookie does that for his team.

Hayward has been damn good this season but Kuechly should walk away with the award

2011 we have the OROY and 2012 most likely the DROY

Says a lot about our future. Get a good coaching staff and we could be set for a while

Lavonte David but I think Kuechly should and will win it.

Tackles is an overrated stat so I wouldn't call Kuechly a lock.
