I know a lot of you were down on him after the extra point miss. But, this guy has been solid ever since and even tho it is a small sample, i think he is already better than medlock and i trust him more than mare.what say you.. .

He has a snowball's chance in hell at making the team next year. If he is still on the team next year, we did no better at hiring a GM than Marty Hurney.

He's good for the time being but I still think he's not a long term answer.

They'll bring in another kicker and have them compete in training camp.

I think Rivera has more confidence in Gano than he did with Medlock. If Rivera is still around next year, Gano might have a shot. Otherwise, he'll likely see the door or face heavy competition in the offseason.

He's played quite well since joining the team, though. That missed extra point was really strange...almost like hesitated thinking it would be blocked and then double clutched it...sending a duck instead of a proper kick. Otherwise, he's been pretty solid.

I have confidence in Gano. He is working very well right now. No sense in bringing in somebody new just to do it.

He can kick the poo out of the ball on kickoffs.

He has been doing well on the kickoffs. I'd just like to see him hit a couple of 50 yarders in a row.
