How can we have such a complete game?

Can anyone explain why this happened or better yet, why has it not been happening all year?

they are the kings of lucky breaks this year. it was only a matter of time.
on our end, though...it's taken the coaching staff growing a set and allowing themselves to keep the foot on the gas the entire game instead of castrating themselves in the 4th quarter and trying to "protect" a lead.
if they push all game, they win. if they try and play it safe and play not to lose, they lose.
wins only come when they are 100% the whole game and act like the game is always on the line and they are playing from behind.

We just need to learn how to have this mentality every single game. That all starts with preparation though which comes with a good coach...

We have played only 4 games with a bunch of attitude this year. The two ATL games, the NO game, and the Monday night game. For some reason we have seemed a little blase. We need to play nasty football every Sunday, and play with a chip on our shoulder every Sunday. It may be too late this season but next season we need to accept the hate on Cam and our team, and take on a "us against the world" mentality and just play like mad men who hates everybody!!

I'm still trying to figure out how we got beat by the team that got smoked by the Browns this week. And then turn around and put a foot in ATL's ass.

Any given Sunday man..
This will change when we find a legit head coach.

Giants played our "option" scheme and smashed us, then looked lost against their rival Redskins same "option" scheme. When you play a familiar opponent things can happen.

remember yesterday the cowboys actually played like they had balls.
when a teammate dies the day before, expect them to come out fighting...at least that week.

This is why why head coaches who are legit make such a different. They keep the players in the winning mentality throughout the year.

The Falcons have squeaked out wins with the easiest schedule in the league. I feel like the Seahawks were a better team than they are.
They will be one and done again this year which will be fun to watch.
I understand the Falcons may not be as good as their record but we are a team that just lost to the Chiefs, who have one of the leagues worst records. If our team played and our coaches coached with the this intensity every week ....who knows?

winning coaches are always fighting and they always have their foot on the gas and they transfer that to their players. This is why why head coaches who are legit make such a different. They keep the players in the winning mentality throughout the year.

On the defensive side of the ball, they were without Asante Samuel, and Dunta Robinson is, uh, not good. Additionally, William Moore was out, so their entire secondary was crippled.
Abraham is finally showing his age, so there really isn't much pressure coming from the defensive line. Bierman isn't a starting defensive end, Jerry is terrible, Babineaux is good but he's the only one.
On offense, they barely had the ball in the first half, and when they did we managed to keep them off the field. Part of the reason they couldn't get anything going was because they kept trying to run the ball. Their offensive line is mediocre at best, but anyone should have been able to just run it up the gut against the Panthers. Unfortunately for them, they still give the ball to Michael Turner.
On the whole, we won because we scored early and kept the ball out of Atlanta's hands. After that, we managed to hold on.
