No, just saying that the rich and businesses around the world are going to search for the lowest rates and best places to set up shop.

People are moving from France to Switzerland or Belgium. I'm guessing this is pretty easy within the EU. And I'm guessing you have no need to renounce your citizenship since pretty much every country in the world except us does not tax their expatriates.

To renounce your citizenship and stop paying taxes from the USA is difficult and expensive. When I was looking at it (not very seriously) you had to keep paying tax for 10 years. Now I think you can settle with the IRS with a lump sum.

What if you just leave? Well you better not try to come back in or make investments in the US.

Still we have a record number of people renouncing their US citizenship

If you like nice weather and don't like living in the bigger cities, it's a pretty nice place to live. Besides, Charlotte and/or Atlanta are driveable from anywhere, and Greenville and Charleston are awesome.

The weather and location is irrelevant; stirs was implying that it's the ideal place to do business because of its tax rates. If that were true, it would be a huge economy instead of a poo hole nobody ever thinks about.
