nice, now if he can just do this all year.....he can go to the playoffs.

Add rushing yard totals and TDs to that and Cam is even more elite.

Do you watch the games or just post about the team?

"tucking one's tail?" be it ignorance or arrogance, it has the same effect when your team has only won 4 games and we are bragging about how good our qb has been in only the past 3. that has nothing to do with "tucking one's tail."

i think the excitement is over the possibility that he and the offense has turned a corner and seems to be trending in a positive way and at the same time expressing some frustration over "what could have been" if rivera/chud had reverted to what they did in '11 earlier than just a few weeks ago.

no one is dismissing the record. i think pretty much everyone has come to grips with it and now it's all about looking for a reason to look forward, which this is.

there's been quite enough "humility" this season. not sure why much more is needed.

Put together a little comparison table myself. Mine is over the last 6 games (basically, when I felt like Cam really started to put everything together starting with the Skins game):

Posted Image

The only guy playing better than Cam over this 6 game stretch is Brady (he's just a beast) and RG3 is playing comparably well (although he hasn't been finding the endzone via rushing these past few games).

the funny thing is you know that people are going to overlook the production, but cite the W/L and the comp. % as evidence that he isn't all that great.

one thing that is interesting, the panthers are 30th in the league in dropped passes with just 14 drops (link) although it seems like we've had a good bit more than that and it's not like we have an all star receiving corps here.

he does make some bad throws, but he also makes some absolutely beautiful ones as well. overall, though, he is THE play-maker/game-changer extraordinaire.

we'd be in the playoffs this year, if Chud hadn't gone full retard with his read option BS.

BTW, where are the Manning bros in the comparison charts?

Don't mind him, his entire persona here is that of a passive aggressive and very sad little man.

We can't talk about Cam here, we might upset the children!

68% completion rate for Payton, with a new team even. Wow.

Good to see Cam is comparing very nicely as a QB with the established elites in the league. Looking forward to his leadership on the filed for years to come.

not to take anything away from peyton, but he's using a lot of short, quick, and high percentage throws. it makes sense that the percentage would be high.

Stats wise, looking at those charts, especially when you add in the rushing, really only Brady and RGIII compare...

Wins mean a lot, but the wins/losses aren't all on Cam either way.

Cam has played better in the second half of this season than the vast majority of NFL QB's. It's just a fact.
