Ha, ha.

You posted the above only after we had all seen with our own eyes that you didn't know the difference. Some quick research, a screen shot, and now you're an expert.

You aren't worth my time or anyone else's.

I don't know the difference? Is this not your post?

I don't know why I bother but maybe I'm bored. It seems you are a bit confused about the pistol and the read option.

A pistol formation is one in which the QB typically does not line up quite as deep as the shotgun, maybe 4 yards deep instead of 6 or 7, and the back lines up behind the QB. We have very, very rarely run that type formation.

The read option is a run play in which the QB and back move together, both with their hands on the ball, while the QB reads a particular D-lineman, typically the DE. Depending on the position of the D-lineman, the QB either keeps the ball or lets go of it and the RB takes it.

The more you know...

I posted that about a month ago...and the picture was there on the page the entire day and you couldn't even tell what you were looking at. You still claimed Cam didn't run plays from shotgun early last year when we ran upwards of 70% in some or our early games.

But you can't get that information from wikipedia.

And you actually have the audacity to say you exposed me? How can someone be both so pompous and obviously ignorant on the subject at the same time?

Yes. So is this...

They're all spread option plays...

This is based very identical to the Inverted Veer which Cam ran at Auburn, we ran it numerous times against the Saints in our first game this season.

Too many people are under the impression we are doing something different from what we did last year. We are not. We just added more varied plays. But we are still running the spread option.

The problem is defenses are starting to figure out how to defend it, often by disguising their coverage and when they do, we don't adjust, so it fails.

When Marguide sees the above play, he believes it's the "standard shotgun". It's not. It's a designed running play.

And it's part of your zone read variety.

Reminder that the Chiefs have a top 10 pass defense.

But yeah no we just played terrible teams, Cam is a sham, etc etc.

I don't get you PFFL

Cam's playing better, no one said he didn't make his mistakes earlier in the year, and he still has some accuracy issues.

But he still isn't playing well enough for you.

He's young, he's 23, he still has some maturing to do but he's doing a MUCH better job of ball security and being a leader. But it's just not enough for you.

So you have to let everyone else know that he doesn't make you happy even though, quite frankly, no one gives a flying fug.

I think he's playing great right now. I just want to see him play this way when it matters.

I'm not here to let everyone know he doesn't make me happy.I'm responding to people who claim we keep changing our base offense which is why Cam's numbers are fluctuating. Which is just plain silly.

I think a couple Smitty TDs in San Diego are a real possibilty.
Be great if Cam and Smitty could account for those 4 needed TDs just by themsleves the next 3 games.

I'd like to see that just because its Smitty's home turf and his family will be there.

Also cool he gets to eclipse 1000 yards in front of them as well.

Watching TNF with the Iggles hosting the Bungles they kept talking about how Dalton was only the third QB to ever throw for 20 TD's in each of his first two seasons. (P Manning and Marino are the other two)

Cam's name was never mentioned despite only needing 4 more passing TD's to join that small group.

So, I'm really hoping Cam can throw for 4 more TD's over the next 3 games and add his name to yet another accomplishment so few others have achieved.

Too bad as long as its Cam the only number they'll focus on will be the W-L.

Actually, they will mention Cam's accomplishments but follow it up with what he hasn't done. It's like they simple hate to just give Cam credit alone.

Also, I want to see this team succeed close out the season strong. If u can take the next three and I don't see why the Panthers can't, the so called slump thsy Cam is in would be muted. I hope.

This is only relevant to a few pages back, but I had no idea that Dalton was twenty fuging five. I guess that's what happens when you're old for your grade and you redshirt a year.

On the first page of the huddle guideline it reads:

Shall you meet PFFL in a thread you should do one of two things or both

1) Never argue with him
2) Leave the thread and put him on ignore

What, back to back playoffs when you start in the NFL because you are prepared?
