I said it about 3 weeks ago. ESPN and the media pattern is CLEAR as day. If the Panthers lose...no matter how Cam plays...in that week's Wednesday or Thursday ESPN will release some hit piece on Cam.

They wait until Wednesday or Thursday because they know that Cam SELLS and is an easy target because the public at large does not like him. And because Wednesday and Thursday are generally horrible sports days.

If the Panthers win and Cam plays well...ESPN does not care. They KNOW their audience feeds on negative Cam sports...ESPN ALSO understands that their audience feeds on POSITIVE Luck stories....now ask yourself...why is that?

Espn knows their audience. They know who to market as villains and as heroes. Luck fills the The Golden Calf of Bristol void this year since Rex is being a dick and wont play him. The audience needs heroes or they abandon the sport (see NBA).
