Mark Sanchez...really? You got to be kidding. What? You think Derek Anderson is going elsewhere?
As for the third string (which I don't think Sanchez wants to be), I would take my chances with Pickles. He has been here, has had a chance to learn, has developed some type of chemistry with the team (for what it's worth), and doesn't have the failed body of work that Sanchez has (which means that we can at least dream and/or be delusional about him getting the job done if need be).

Teh Jimmeh never got the same opportunities as Sanchez, I.e. a good team. Obviously he's bad, but I'd like to see him in a preseason game or two, for a few drives.

Having not seen much from Jimmy I'd want to see him with #1's before I made the decision. Just dont know what he is really capable of anymore.
But you have to trust that there is a reason that the coaches wont give him a helmet on game day. And that said you have to go with Sanchez
