Let's not forget not just a few months ago that Charles Johnson was on twitter alluding to the coaches being the problem. These guys are playing for their jobs, period. The firing of Hurney put everyone on notice.

The Eagles in 2012 and Tampa Bay in 2011 quit on their coach. Yeah as a collective unit..........

Who said the Eagles has quit on their? The Eagles are just playing bad football right now. They have suffer through a lot of injuries and blown a lot of football assignments.

The team seemed relieved when Fox was allowed to leave; Smith was always vocal about not being a part of the offense. I kind of have a feeling with his resurgence he wouldn't mind having them stick around.

It was never clear whether those statements alluded to coaches or players.

In the immediate context, I remember thinking he was calling out Godfrey and Martin.

Actually I think it was either Godfrey or James Anderson. Next to Josh Norman, JA was the one that choked the most on those last two drives against the Bucs.

Love the excuses that fans come up with for the players supporting their coach.

There are several people not named Newton who need not worry about their jobs.

Add Kuechly and Kalil names then.
