Greg Jennings is the man.

Smith is getting very long in the tooth.

WRs in the draft are a dicey prospect and take a long time to develop, if they ever do.

Dwayne Bowe has done zero to make him more valuable to the Panthers than Jennings.

Jennings catches everything thrown his way, gets open, leads the other receivers, is only 29 years old, which means he's got at least 4-5 years left for the Panthers to figure out their receiver needs.

If Smith has one injury, just one, that keeps him out for the year or even a big portion of the year, the Panthers offense is dead.

Go get that WR who is a proven commodity, coming into his height, experienced vet, who helps Newton and closes a critical path on the offense.

The fact is, the Packers have 3 more receivers that can pick up the slack? Who do the Panthers have?

This is a critical failure area for this offense and if Jennings is the new 50 then Steve for the hits he has taken over his career is the new 60.

Yeah I read on PFT when they placed Long on IR that there is legit speculation in Miami that he could be done there. Still, even with the injuries I'd be hesitant to invest a lot of money in him. He's injury prone and some dumbass team is gonna throw a lot if cash at him. I don't wanna be that team.

S- Byrd -> Big need for us an fills the bill
TE- Delanie Walker -> Perfect compliment for Olsen and helps everything for our offense.
LT- Jake Long -> Off year but I'm 100% sure he'll bounce back and be pro bowl level.
WR- Greg Jennings -> Amazing route runner and very safe hands. Injury concerns is a big worry though.
