I've been on wanting rivera gone since the first falcons game. However im starting to change my mind. Cam has been getting my benefit of the doubt, but Ron has not. That is not fair to him. Im back on board keeping Ron for one more year. I do think he has it in him to become a great coach. He's a good dude, the players seem to love him, so Im willing to give him one more chance for the sake of Cam and the team.

Based on what?

The day you wouldn't at least listen to a promotion u let me know.

Rivera is sticking around now though so it's pointless to even argue about it.

I think he'd talk to Harbaugh about the idea, and then he would talk Shaw out of it pretty damn quick.

Yay for Rivera!

From what I've seen the players really don't like him at all.

Disagree, they are going out of their way to give him endorsement.

my top choice is still likely to be available so nothing really changed for me.

if rivera wins out, i'm fine with him staying. i just don't think he's the guy that's going to take this team to the top. we can do better.

if he finishes the season with just 6 wins...i'm less ok with it.

if he gets no more wins then he should absolutely be gone. regression is not acceptable at this stage.

I have not changed my stance. 7-9 Rivera should stay, anything less he should go. The Saints game will be the tell all, they are still a solid team playing hard. If we beat the Raiders then go and sweep the Saints in the superdome and end up at 7-9, Rivera should definately stay

I want Rivera gone, but I can go along with this.

Not upset about this and figured he'd stay in Stanford.

The guys I'm interested are probably some relatively unknown types or an unpopular option (Gus Bradley, Brad Seely, & Cowher)

Well looks like Matthias is going to have to make a new pipe dream mock offseason in the draft forum
