There is a difference between supporting and blindly supporting. TD is an awesome story and deserves to be in the running and also garner more national recognition. However, AP is about to make history after blowing his ACL & MCL.

I could careless about AP or Manning

You think a Viking fan would not say AP is COTY. You think a Bronco fan will not say Manning is COTY. So why it has to be Panthers fans smh

Vikings fans won't say AP shouldn't be the winner because well, he should be. We say AP should win it over TD because well, he should. We support TD, love his story, and think he is very deserving for the consideration of the award. But again, what AP has done is just better. I know it's uncommon around here but we're actually being...wait for it....rational

Davis's story is pretty incredible. He is well deserving of the award any other year. But one year removed from blowing out his knee, Adrian Peterson might single handedly lead the Vikings to the playoffs, and break the single season rushing record. It will be Peterson but Davis is JUST as deserving.

Both AP and TD are doing things never done before. TD recovering from 3 ACL's and AP coming off an awful knee injury to break the all-time single season rushing record.... both are amazing in and of themselves. Both deserve it and God knows i love me some TD but i couldn't choose between the two id let them split it.

How it's better?

You think AP could tear his ACL 3 times back to back to back and then have the season he's having now?

I love TD. The guy is the heart of this team. Coming back from 3 ACL tears on the same knee and doing what he is doing is incredible. But at the end of the day, he is having a good year versus a guy having a potentially record-breaking year. If TD had 200 tackles, 5 picks, 5 FF and was leading a stout Panther defense into the playoffs, it might be a different story. I don't think it makes me less of a fan by not blindly yelling ra-ra panthers for everything.

I will say this though; the person mentioning AD only missing one game does make an interesting point. Peterson missed one. Manning missed 16. TD missed like 40, so that's pretty incredible.

If you were going apples to apples, it'd be like Peterson blowing out his ACL and coming back and having a 1,100-1,200 yard season to be equal to what Davis has done this year.

You need to update your signature with current stats. 15 games into the season, and the stats you have for him look like a 4th string undrafted free agent stat line.

When someone like me who didn't have a cream of the crop pick for players that thread could be actually keeping up with it. TD is a fugin beast

What is more important? How good your stats are? Or how big the come back is? To me the COME BACK Player of the Year is about the come back. Thomas Davis had this biggest comeback by far. How many games did AP even miss? At least Peyton had to sit out a season...
