Julio Jones says Falcons were bored against the Panthers, so they lost.

Saw this yesterday, wasn't surprised.

Whatever he meant, he sounds like an idiot. It doesn't bode well for the Falcons entering the playoffs.

I just still loved the fact that Hardy called the Falcons out and we still kicked their ass. So what if they are the better team, they should act like it. There was another good team in 2008 that played crappy against "lower" competition and they had a great game against the Cardinals in the playoffs.

Well the Falcons aint a better team since we split the season and we won the last game, so that notion is out of the door. Record wise they have a better team, but it you look at the past 3 weeks, I think we are a better team that had a bummed out season.

He's probably not wrong. We are a bad team with a lot of losses, teams are bound to overlook us.

So Hardy calling out a week in advance, and us being a rival, they overlooked us? Did they overlook the Saints who said publicly "We've always had their number."? Falcons are a team that gets easily complacent, a playoff berth is enough for them. Forget about winning it.

You never "overlook" a rival, never. That's why people say "ignore the records" cause anything can happen in rivalry games. Unless you're the Bears playing at Lambeau.......

really no sense in getting mad over that quote.. it speaks volumes in and of itself. 1 and done, yet again.

lol...we ha already played them and they got two miracle plays that allowed them to squeak out win a win by kicking a FG as time expired.

Yet he thinks he can convince people Atl just fell asleep at the wheel and that is why they lost as time expired in the 2nd meeting?

The first matchup means he is full of poo.....and trying to convince himself they aren't frauds

"It's the little things. We can get bored. We lost against Carolina. We were kinda bored with it -- looking at their record -- I just think we got bored."

"I say things. And then i can't really think of much else to say. So I say those same things again."

Exactly.

Falcons were the first really good team we have beat in a long time and although its a lame excuse, especially for a divisional opponent, its the truth. We havnt posed a threat in a while.

You're forgetting they were literally 1 inch of Nakamura vertical from losing to us last time. You better believe they were nowhere even close to bored or overlooking the Panthers. They were simply outplayed.
