If we ran a 3-4 with our personnel, Andre Brown and Bryce Brown would've rushed for 1,000+ in their two combined games.

Reason is a team player.

Most of this thread shows the ignorance of the huddle.

Edit. Damn phone.

lol insurance. but yes Beason is a team player and I believe he'd do what's necessary to stay with the team. Honestly I'm not even positive I think he needs to restructure, he was a top 5 ILB and people forget how long it takes to regain form after an Achilles tear. It used to be a death sentence for players but over the past few years several players have successfully came back from it, although it took about 2 years to come back to around 100%. This extra year of rest will be great for his Achilles to completely heal and plenty of time for his shoulder as well. I have no doubt he will come back just as good as he was up until he was first injured.

Beason will be back, I'm just very anxious to see where they line him up.

He probably will re-do his contract, but to insinuate that we need to let a guy go as good as Beason is absurd. Apparently everyone just chose to forget about Davis's return from 3 ACL injuries. If Davis can return from multiple injuries in less than two years then so can a younger and more athletic Jon Beason.

Beason is no where near athletic as TD do some hw.

If we switched to a 3-4, I'd wanna hang on to Anderson.

Davis - Kuechly - Beason - Anderson

Johnson - Star - Hardy

Davis and Anderson are too small to play OLB in a 3-4.

We need 52 & 59! SUPERBOWL CHAMPS

Two linebackers wont make come close to getting you to a Superbowl. Unless they are rush backers like Aldon Smith, Von Miller, or Clay Matthews.

It's amazing how many people thought Hurney was a "cap genius" when the only way he could finagle the cap was by utilizing the signing bonus, and boy did he play that fuging card to death

welcome to cap hell folks

It was just moronic posting. Hurney worked with the same cap as everyone else and year in - year out we would have below average to average talent. Hurney wasnt a cap genius, there were just some huddletards.

So Ray Lewis and Brian Urlacer (sp?) are not important cause they dont rush the passer?

If he plays the contract is fine.
