yeah, Beuerlein doesn't have the voice. It's a little more surprising he doesn't have the knowledge, but he sounds like a very casual fan, not someone who played for a decade.

He might not be a very good announcer but he is probably the best qb the panthers have had especially considering he seemed to get sacked every other play. (not that cam will not be better).

I honestly had no clue who the announcers were but I noticed that they sucked hardcore and one guy specifically was trashing the panthers at every chance. I had no clue that it was our very own 3rd greatest QB of all time.

Thats what we get for overrating a career benchwarmer who got us to 8-8 once.

Buerlein was a massive douche on the broadcast today. It really makes me wonder if something went down with him and Jerry over preseason broadcasts or even back to the way Seifert cut him. His commentary was extremely one sided and it caught me off guard because I was expecting him to be a homer for us.

Those are the same throws Delhomme got lauded for - tossing jump balls to Smith and Muhammad and letting them make a play for it. Smith doesn't have the same mutant vert he used to but really should have caught that.
