you know, there was a picture posted to the panthers facebook of cam talking to steve and he was slouching in a small, probably uncomfortable chair.

so begins the speculation

Nah. Steve B. was a hater last year too when he called our game vs. Jax.

All in all he was a real douche today and got on Cam quite a bit.

Once Cam made a fabulous throw to Smitty (it went threw his hands and was almost intercepted) and Steve had the audacity to say that Cam shouldn't have made that throw and that it was a bad decision...

that throw was a bad decision. He threw it up for grabs into triple coverage. Easily could have been a pick.

And Steve's comment was that the decision was the one bad decision that Can made today.

It's only a bad decision if you can't make the throw, I always tell my buddies/players that if you can make the play then make it but if you gamble and don't make it then I don't want an excuse.

Cam made the play, it just wasn't caught by Smith.

And as far as Beuerlein goes, he meant it as a backhanded slap. Beuerlein has made his feelings known about Cam since he came into the league, he doesn't like him.

smith has made a career of going up and getting those kinds of balls. the placement was actually not bad, it was just the deflection that was the problem.

yeah it was risky but steve catches those more often than not.

We cut him when he was playing well. Also he was doing our preseason games for awhile and that stopped so maybe there is something there. Or maybe he just doesn't like Cam.
