Symbolic false flag? Could one pick a more vurnable group of citizens that emotionally pull the public than schoolkids and fireman?

Just asking the question.

ummmm you anti-gun liberals should re-think this. if he wanted to kill them he could have lured them into the house and then just knifed them to death. guns dont kill people people kill people and maybe we should just ban houses and fire while we're at it

If only there had been some way we could have known this might happen, maybe it could've been prevented...

If only we'd known he was capable...

The two may be issues. But they really have nothing to go with each other.

Read a stat in the Charlotte Observer last week that was interesting. The states with the fewest gun homicides and suicides (by a large margin) are not those with tough gun laws, but are those with strong mental commitment laws.

hmm... i can believe that. but if gun control is an issue (or lack thereof) and mental health is an issue as well, then doesn't the lack of gun control combined with mentally unstable persons create a potential hazard?

i don't think you can address just one. there has to be some sort of balance
