Not on board with rushing the GM hire, no matter who's out there.

To me this is the more important of the two. Plus right now we don't even know if we are in the head coach search at the moment.

Agree with you there, but I believe it's a two man race in Ross and Gamble.

I wouldn't write Dave Gettleman off just yet.

Andy Reid would do nothing but eat all the BBQ in Charlotte,Philly is about to fire him for eating all the cheese steaks.

j/k He is overrated as a coach though.

How is he overrated? he made Mike Vick look like a top 5 QB for a season, that by itself is amazing

Yeah I've read more about it being between Ross and Gettleman, with Ross being the Favorite right now.

Chip will not be here next year, Ronnie will be back for another mediocre season, maybe flirt with the playoffs. Our GM will come out of left field, someone that will make shake your head and say, what..who, Hardy will will be over paid, people and players will over hype at the begining of training camp, then mid season will start the what could of been with another strong finish where fans will be saying the team didn't quit, were making progress and comming together stay the course and so on and on and on and on.

OH yea a FA lol, forget about it... you no the drill

Were leagues ahead of Philly roster wise in terms of desirable locations.

If we want Chip Kelly, we could get Chip Kelly.

The question is does JR have the willpower in his heart and wallet to do so. I frankly doubt it.

Roster quality is debatable.

As far as general organization, personnel acquisition, etc, they're worlds ahead of us.

Heck, they may have a new head coach already in place before we even have a new GM.

Problem with Kelly is that he is solely an offensive coach and only cares about offense, in my opinion he would be a better OC than head coach.

With Kelly, you are essentially paying a guy head coach money to be your OC.

As a duck fan I find this funny. The ducks are top 50 in total defense and 29th in points allowed. Not spectacular but when you lead the nation in points scored average to above average defense wins you a lot of games.

You've been a pretty big proponent that Chip Kelly wants to bring his college offense to the NFL. I frankly dont believe that to be true; but even if it is on some level...

Do you want Cam Newton or Nick Foles/Tyler Wilson/yadayada running your offense?

Didn't realize you guys were that good, all we heard about this year was that you guys didn't play defense lol.

Side Note: Was Chip the OC when Stew was Oregon?

He can always draft, I don't think Nick Foles is written in stone.

My guess about Philly is that there'll be a different guy under center next year no matter who they hire as head coach.

He had one of the best defensive teams (Dawkins/Douglas/Trotter)for a decade and only made it to the SB 1 time during his coaching career,he also had 1 of the best rb's Westbrook back when rb where important to win football games.Im sorry but nothing about his resume screams top 5 coach to me.

How good has Andy Reid's record been since Jim Johnson's passing?

(been meaning to look that up)

Yes he was. No worries I'm a very casual ducks fan because its too hard to stay up late enough to watch them!

let them get Chip and give us andy reid. I can live with that.

This if we are going to make a head coaching change I want someone clearly better, and Andy Reid is that, a proven top 5 coach in the NFL.

I wonder about Andy Reid. Maybe good coach, but so far not good enough. Has made some questionable decisions ..players and coaches. Everyone thought he had the talent....did not get results.
