ok. go to montford. i may even buy you a beer. heck, i will even throw in an end of year stock tip. if you can get past an occasional Robert Goulet rendtion of We are the Champions then you are gold.

uptown is not that bad but im not expecting you to drive(2nd not so subliminal hint) but hit a bar or two and thats it.

Ended up going to Ri Ra's Irish Pub in uptown (downtown),.NYE was quite packed, and filled with drunks,...wasn't too bad. Thanks for the advice everybody. Will be helpful in the future when my girlfriend and I are back down for some Panther's games!

Been to downtown once for NYE celebration. Will not go back ever again. Too many drunks, cops, and people who just want to break poo and get into fights. Downtown gets way to fuging overcrowded for me...


That actually sounds like fun, or at least it did when I was young. Watching people get drunk and fight and break stuff and then get arrested use to be fun. ;)

why would an Irishman spoil his fun in the states by going to a phoney Irish pub?
