As you all know I was very pro assualt rifle.

I just needed time to sit back and take in both sides of the argument.

I will sell the gov my AR. That's fine. I have no problem with that. But all my other non high capacity rifles are off limits. Except my .22 semi automatic rifle. ( with a 25 round clip.) My 9mm (17+1 in the chamber) off limits.

They can have it. I think I can efficiently protect my family with those.

My buddy showed me the results about how many LEO/Military would actually take up arms against its own citizens and it showed 90% said no. So Im not worried about that at all.

I will sell you my AR...but leave the rest of my guns and ammo alone.

I am not against banning semi automatic weapons. But I do think doing so will not stop incidents such as sandy hook, or even slow them down a bit.

I also think a total ban on weapons will be about as successful as prohibition. It will cut down somewhat on guns, and on murders. But it will also create a tremendous blackmarket for guns, that will be completely unregulated.

can we start putting out for the public to see when someone buys condoms so the parents or legal guardians can see and then they can better talk to their sons or daugthers about teh sex?

maybe also post when someone takes meds for depression because if they are having a tough time, we can then know better how to deal with them with this public knowledge. right?

I think everyone who's been diagnosed with a concussion (because we just don't know the long term effects), bipolar, manic depression, women's PMS cycles, men's duration of not having sex, alcoholics lack of getting beer, smokers (and their attempts to quit), should have to register with the corner police offices and put to local publications so that everyone knows their situation and be guarded...just in case.
