I don't think that he'd stay on a DC if offered...and I don't know how much input he's had on our defensive turnaround. If it was significant, I'd certainly offer, if he isn't retained as HC...

This idiotic theory has been discussed at length here on the huddle. I'm going to assume you are just trolling, but if you aren't, name a time when an NFL coach got demoted to coordinator on the same team in consecutive years.



I'm simply asking the question if the opportunity presented itself and Rivera was on board would you want him on the staff as DC. If you don't wise to discuss theoretical topics confine yourself to post game and static threads.

Who ever hires him as a DC will get one heck of a coordinator though. Not going to dismiss his DC skills.

That RR would be retained as DC is without a doubt the most absurd notion of the year, and there has been a lot of competition.
