Panthers PR guy is tired of fictional stories about Cam

It isn't just the hello kitty thing. The local media like to get on twitter and call him names like Mr. Mopeyhead. Or bask in the glory of other young QBs in the NFL while taking veiled (and sometimes not so veiled) shots at Cam.
The local media should be the one sticking up for their city's franchise QB, but instead they seem to want to double down, and bow down to national media BS, I guess in the hopes of getting a job after their paper inevitably goes under or in case the mothership wants additional radio talent.
They have been better lately, but the local media needs to do more to bat down some of these stories instead of just going along with everything the national media or the uninformed say.

And he has.
But I dont think its going to help. He needs to kill them with kindness, and just be himself. Maybe he isn't a media guy and that's his true self. But he needs to learn there's more to being a QB then showing up on gameday. Its a fact of life now in the NFL.
You have to be the face of an organization and well spoken and not say anything that crosses the line. You have to be a company man. He's a superstar on the field but he isn't doing himself favors by not towing the company line week in and week out and doing some extra things that would really make him appear favorably in the eyes of the national media
Serious question. If you were a CEO of a company, and you did interviews with a media outlet, and they continuously took quotes out of context in what appears to be a concerted effort to undermine your company.
Would you keep doing interviews with those people at the expense of the business you busted you butt your whole life to build??
Cam isn't just a football player, he is a business. I know in the fan's fantasy land of professional sports, that every player shouldn't worry about their appearance, just play football. But in the real world a franchise player's perception directly effects their marketability thus their endorsement income. And when media entities are negatively shaping that perception on purpose you have little incentive to humor them with interviews, especially when they will take a small portion of a larger point in a larger sentence or paragraph (entertainer and Icon), and use that to boost their career and visibility at the expense of Cam's.
Just win. Fug the media.

Charlotte sports radio stations.
WFNZ isn't a real, legitimate sports talk station. We listen to it because it's the only thing on. Like I've said before, I'm really pulling for ESPN730 to take off.

Doing things like feeding the homeless on thanksgiving, putting 11 kids up in a luxury suite for the raiders game, and donating lord knows how much money to different charites? Do they ever mention that on the radio? Hell no! The only place I ever see that mentioned is on here. I cant stand to listen to that Douche Marc with a no on gives a fug your name is spelled with a C James, but maybe we need to start calling in to defend OUR quarterback.

.I prefer to look at him as a qb of a football team and judge him as a football player and leader on the team.
The entertainer Cam has his superman pose and all the other little things he does that annoy the media.I don't see why it is so shocking given his status as an entertainer that the media takes jabs at him.

What zod does is he wants yall to think hes somewhat on the "inside" but doesn't actually know anything so he posts general things [negative] about cam that everyone has already heard and claims he heard it from a 'source'. with that source being the janitor that cleans up section 535.
lol

In all fairness I have never seem Zod take a shot at Cam except to say that he heard he was a diva in the locker room.Well my friend believe it or not I heard the same thing.
Does that make me a hater ...hell no.I like that we have Cam but just wish he excelled in leadership skills the same way he does with his athletic ability
