The Saints still have salary cap issues and a very bad defense.

The Saints defense would have to improve dramatically to be considered very bad.

i don't think there was any question whether the saints were going to let him slip away after the nfl rejected the previous contract. they would have provided him with a harem and deeded the super dome to him if they had to.

also yeah spags sure did whip that defense into shape didn't he. they're only perilously close to becoming the worst fuging defense of all time statistically.
