The Jets will be pursuing Polian after firing Tannenbaum this coming Monday ?
Contrary to upcoming reports, there will be no consultant?
Announcement should happen pretty soon after the expected firing?

Update:
Polian denied the Jets interest in him for GM but is going to be advising them on where they should go.
He also denied the Jaguars request to talk with him.
Gamble will likely be a hot name for the Jets given Bill's close ties with the 49ers current personel dept.
Also, one of the Polians will be announced as a HC at a college out west next week. Can't say the name yet until the paperwork is complete.
