Has Jake Delhome been honored in any way by the franchise?

just curious. I would love if he was put into our HoF or made an honorary captain when he retires for a home game etc. That would be very emotional. He wasn't that great but he was certainly a leader. I hope Newton can become a leader of men like him.

Yeah, they honored him by paying him millions and then cutting him, and allowing him to double dip with the Browns.

I see that the ghost of Jake Delhomme is still alive and well.

I have pondered this myself. I would travel to Charlotte for that ceremony/game.

He definitely ought to be.

Would love to see him run out with the team for the home opener next season. Honorary captain or something like that.

I know he took the team to our only Super Bowl but will we ever get over him already?

There is no better way to honor him than giving him tens of millions of dollars long after he was done being an effective NFL quarterback.
