Love the end of this season even though we missed the playoffs. You could see the team gain confidence and start playing much better. Even though I was all for axing Rivera for most of the season I believe he had earned another year.

SAME garbage. Great first half, get a lead and play soft zone D, letting them chip away yards and come back. Run every single play because you're over conservative and go three and out. (Even run on 3 and 10). This is not an NFL coach. He will NEVER make it at the next level once we slip into the playoffs and play the big dogs.
I thought D-will played a great game. I strongly believe we could trade him for a 4th or 5th and clear up cap space. Someone would take his contract. Lions need him.
The secondary made a few mistakes but played well overall. Luke had another great game. Steve Smith had a great game. Cam had a great game. Rivera did NOT have a great game. /rant.
edit- If you all think it was pure coincidence all those games slipped away at the last minute this season, see Rivera's gameplay above. It never changes. No adjustments after halftime and always switch to Soft D and running the ball everytime we have a lead entering the 4th.

Will feel even better if the next news we get is a good GM hire.
