Are we really 16 million over the cap for 2013?

Recommended Posts

It's even worse the 2 season's after that.

144 million or so in 2014 and 110 the following season for only 18 players. The only team to have a higher cap in 2014 and 2015 is the Eagles.

Gamble should be traded, Ron Edwards should be released, and I'm hesitant about D-Will. (If we can trade Stew without blowing up our cap, I would do that and restructure D-Will's contract)

fortunately most of the people who we will be cutting do not deserve near what their contract is so there will be some big chunks coming off. No worries.

it helps to not be a fan of players when these hard decisions approach.

Salary cap numbers are pointless right now, you can work a lot of magic to massage them.

Massage them today, 50 million dollars over the cap tomorrow.
