Not that you can gauge much from five snaps, but I much prefer having him as a backup to pretty much anyone else in the league:

Yes. He did well for the few plays he was in. I think we have one of the better #2 QB's in the NFL.

Yep. He moves the ball and is accurate with his reads and throws. We're fortunate to have him as our backup.

He is a good backup....

His play in the preseason showed us that he is a nice backup

you know what the thing is that Gerek Anerson is actually a pretty good qauterback in the national football leauge he has been underated for so long but i know that if we need him he can come in the game and help us to get a win he can really throw a football real good and that is something i love about him and this one time i met someone that knows him and they said he is a nice guy and i just love nice people so that makes me like him even more I can see kicking back having a soda with him

they should have let him played the rest of the game after that injury.....dude always seem like he really wants to play on the sideline lol :hocky: :unsure:

The team needs to keep him around. There are no guarantees that our OL will be completely fixed next year and Cam might be forced to run for his life again.

It would be ideal to have another running QB to keep the playbook open, but at least DA brings a decent amount of experience that we can lean on for some time if Cam gets injured.
