Mr. Scot

An indicator that Rivera might be safe

For different reasons though, they liked Hurney because of the money he gave out.

Why do you think CJ went to twitter on a foolish rampage, my guess is that it was because Hurney broke the bank for him.

It still doesn't make them intelligent, nor does it make them people to listen to in a situation that involves front office or coaching personnel.

You said why wouldn't we listen to the players on the team, and I gave you one.

A very valid one actually.

I don't give a poo who the players like, they need to do their jobs and stop shitting the bed in close games, regardless of who the coach is.

Same reason you fire Andy Reid after 14 years... the greatest chance for success has been realized with that particular coach.

I will agree with you on that, but I believe Rivera can get this team into the playoff's.

I've said before, this team was a few plays away from being a playoff team. Execution killed us.

Is it Ron, or is it executing down the stretch?

3 Plays

1. Nakamura/Cam's fumble

2. Cam's throw into the dirt

3. Playing prevent defense against Chicago

I see only one of those as Rivera's fault.

Add in the Tampa debacle, that is all on the coach as well.

See I don't see that is being valid, because one is a money reason.

The players seem to like Rivera for different reasons's. For what reason's I don't know because I'm not in the locker room but it can't be a money factor since Rivera doesn't pay them.

Steve Smith has, and that definitely counts.

So have Thomas Davis, Greg Olsen, Charles Johnson, Greg hardy, Mike Tolbert and now Jordan Gross.

Not a ring among them, nor much more than a sniff at one except for Smitty

The players liked Fox as well, actually the players always like the "player" coaches(like Reid).

Means nothing.

Their job isn't to like and be buddy buddy with the coach.

That is a loser's mantra. Every team can pick out 3 plays that would have changed the outcome of their games.

It's the body of work that counts, not selected bits.

I'll give you that one, but I could also say Cam's pick 6 is another reason we lost to the Bears.

See I disagree, it would be one thing if it was plays, these are just one play. You execute, you win: all you have to do is execute. If the coaches were out on the field that would be one thing, but they aren't. Cam has to make throws, Nakamura has to make the play on the ball.

Could be worse, we could have Tony Romo as our QB!
