Luck, Griffin, Wilson, Kaepernick, Ponder, Dalton, Fox. All in playoffs.

So far, JR has failed to put the proper team around Cam. Firing Hurney hopefully was a start.

How many of those teams I listed are being anchored by rookies? At least half.
This shitt shouldn't take so long.

I feel like our talent is just as good if not better than most of these teams. Even with injuries we still have better players than most of these teams that made it.

Coaching.
Besides, we have definitely looked like a playoff caliber team. See our destruction over Atlanta. We just don't know how to close. And yet for all of our issues this year, we STILL finished 7-9. So I don't think we are that far off. But I just don't trust our coaching.

Redskins- another fired coach with a crappy team lead by two rookies (rg3 and Morris).
Seahawks - college coach on hot seat starting rookie third round QB and young secondary.
Bengals - coach on hot seat but makes playoffs back to back seasons lead by young players dalton and green.
Vikings - another hot seat coach with a young unproven QB and rookie leaders.

Probably the worst part about this season. Why can't we take that next step with what we have now? What is the problem?
JR (mainly) and coaching

Kansas City, Philly, and Oakland all sucked. But that was it. Every other team we played was pretty good.
When I look back at the schedule with the power of hindsight and think "which games should we have easily won" Those are the only 3 games that I can come up with. Still can't believe we lost to KC.
The other 13 games, there are a handful that I figure we were legit underdogs (both ATL games, @NO, @CHI, and DEN), and then 8 games that I would consider just complete toss ups.
Let's put it this way. There is no such thing as a good loss. All losses suck. But when I look back at out schedule in hindsight, there is really only one game that we lost that is truly a headscratcher and that was Kansas City.
Again that isn't an excuse for our record, we should have been 10-6 and could have been 14-2. But this schedule wasn't cupcake city either. Every Sunday was a battle against teams that were just as good as we were. We lost some because of coaching, we lost some because of bad play, and we lost some because of bad luck.
