1. Jennings doesn't turn 30 until after the 2013 season starts.

2. Those who think the Panthers can't afford him should look at the contract he's finishing now before making that statement.

3. He'd be a great slot receiver for Carolina.... but the Panthers need to start thinking about their entire WR group over the next 2-3 years. Smith will be gone after the 2013 or 2014 season (Carolina won't pay him $7M in 2015 when he's 36):
2012: $1 million
2013: $3.75 million
2014: $4 million (+ $3 million option bonus)
2015: $7 million
2016: $9 million (Option Year)
2017: Free Agent

4. Brandon LaFell is actually older than Louis Murphy, but I think the bigger target in LaFell suits Cam Newton. Murphy could stick around as a #3/KR/PR since he's a UFA.
