Just how wide a net are the Bears casting in their head coaching search?

Word is they're interviewing Bears legend, and former 49ers head coach, Mike Singletary.

Probably finished up the offense and ST coaches now so they're gonna interview their 10 defensive coach candidates

Guess they budged on the money.

Wonder if that helps nudge the Jets to give Tom Gamble another chance.

Actually, he updated to say it's a strong prediction, not a report.

Surprised Roethlisberger isn't pushing Todd Haley as an "ideal head coach" (anywhere but Pittsburgh).

Albert Breer says Caldwell chose to go back to Jacksonville after his second interview with the Jets.

Translation: He took a good look at what he'd be walking into and said "Screw this. It'd be worth taking a lower paycheck to be far away from this dumpster fire."

Expect Caldwell to consider 49ers OC Greg Roman, if the Jags fire Mularkey. Plane's taking off now ... See you guys in a few.

It means #Jets are down to Tom Gamble, Marc Ross and Scott Cohen. Or they could expand the field.

For the "emotional coach" crowd, here's a pic linked from Ian Rapoport's Twitter.

Glazer reporting that the Jags and Caldwell have reached an "agreement in principle".

LaCanfora thinks Caldwell's first move will be to dump Mike Mularkey. I wonder about that seeing as they'd have history from Mularkey's time as Falcons OC.
