Per the Cleveland Plain Dealer, Browns owner Jimmy Haslam says they will hire a head coach first, then look at getting a personnel guy. Head coach will have final say on personnel decisions.

Really starting to look like they're going to go all out for Chip Kelly.

I think you'd have to be crazy to hire Chip Kelly and hand him the keys to the entire organization. I find him intriguing as a coach, but to hire a guy with no NFL experience as the head coach AND give him final say on all personnel decisions? Whoa...

Said elsewhere that didn't surprise me as much knowing Joe Banner is at the helm. He gave Andy Reid plenty of say (look how that worked out).

That said, Reid had been a pro head coach for a long time before he got that kind of power. Giving it to a college guy right out of the gate?

Titans Executive Vice President Mike Reinfeldt helped get GM Ruston Webster his job.

Now Reinfeldt is out and Webster is assuming his duties.

Ouch

Wouldn't want him as a GM, but he's got a lot of experience with good front offices. I could see giving him some other role in the overall structure.

Jason La Canfora@JasonLaCanfora

As I've been reporting, Cardinals very likely to promote assistant GM Steve Keim to the GM position

Adam Schefter@AdamSchefter
Cardinals fired HC Ken Whisenhunt. Up to 7 HCs today.

Falcons might lose OC Dirk Koetter. He's apparently a hot head coaching candidate.

Believe or not I would be intrigued in Ken Whis as HC. The guy was brought down by that awful QB situation

Generally speaking, I'd take either as a coordinator. Head coach? Not so much.

So what do you guys really think, emotions and opinions aside, will Rivera be fired? I mean if Lovie Smith gets fired after a 10-6 season, anything can happen.
