If the chips fall this way, Ross just may end up back in New York. Telesco's gaining steam in San Diego.

I think the Jets will get Gamble.

Would be wild to see Ross make all those rounds and not wind up with a job. And yes, that's possible, though unlikely,

If it did happen though, I'd be on the phone asking him if he wants a "director of player personnel" job here (would still be a promotion) or even an assistant GM job.

Eagles have received permission to interview Gus Bradley.

Unrelated, but here's a fun pic linked from Jonathan Jones' Twitter...

Also, per Jason LaCanfora, although Jaguar assistants have been told it's okay to seek jobs elsewhere, the team is still requiring that other teams ask their permission for interviews.

Might be worth noting that the Panthers have not made similar suggestions to their assistants.

Tom Sorensen@tomsorensen

I'm told Jerry Richardson has yet to decide if Ron Rivera returns. They meet Saturday. Richardson, not the new GM, will make the call.

that's going to be a great selling point to a GM.

The news on JR deciding Rivera's fate sucks. Means JR is being JR still and nothing's likely to change.

I bet the Browns gave him at least $30 mil over 5 years.

It would have to be, he's making 4 mil a season for the Ducks. It's going to take a bit of money for him to make the jump.
